We are excited to announce the return of our three day immersion coaching program. Since our initial debut with Primal Blueprint, we have decided to once again offer our three day intensive retreats. This retreat is focused around personal coaching and continuing education. This weekend is an opportunity to have our new and seasoned clients come and spend a long weekend getting in person coaching, continuing education, and to commune with your fellow bees while doing so. This is also a great opportunity to have fun and take in the beautiful mountain location of Big Bear Lake, Ca.

    Your facilitators and coaches, Adam and Vanessa will be with you every step of the way during your immersion weekend. Our goal is that you leave this weekend feeling more empowered, educated, and excited to take your wellness to the next level. No eliteist attitudes in this program, we meet you where you are and help you move forward confidently. Have your wellness practice upgraded over the course of this long weekend and leave feeling recharged and rejuvanted to continue on your journey.

  • Chef Liz Mostaedi

    Liz has been a Primal Enthusiast and real life Mark’s Daily Apple Worker Bee for the past 5 years. Cooking has always been a passion of her’s and that background has served her well as she’s channeled her talent through Primal cooking. Liz brings real world experience to the table and will show you how to overcome the common misconception that eating better requires more time in the kitchen.Not only will you chow down on some amazing Primal fare, but you’ll also walk away with the building blocks to effortlessly create healthy, delicious food at home.

  • Angelo Dela Cruz

    Angelo is a former NASA Life Science Support Scientist who assisted with experiments that flew aboard the Space Shuttle and International Space Station. He is a former martial arts instructor and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. On his way to becoming a surgeon, he decided to choose a better path for him to explore true health & happiness.He realized vitality is a proactive process in doing the right things to support the optimal function of the body & mind. Angelo now helps others amplify their power and beauty on the inside through advanced bodywork, fitness training, and high performance life mastery coaching.

This retreat is an all inclusive, immersive retreat.
The focus of this event is an opportunity to go in depth on diet, exercise, mobility, and all things wellness! There will be in depth reviews of our movement patterns including the strength training movements in our program, mobility exercises, as well as basic human mechanics.

Movements will be scaled from beginner to more advanced.
Still a newbee? Not to worry, this retreat will have you up to speed in no time. You don’t have to worry that you’re not advanced enough. This is for all levels and our coaching will meet you where you are in your practice and help build you from there.

The price is based on double occupancy. Please contact if you would like to be paired up with a roomate. All activites, food, accomdations, etc. is included. Flight and travel is not included and will be the responsibility of the attendee. However, we will make a facebook page availble for folks to coordinate with eachother. There is ample parking on site.
Closest airport is Ontario 90 minutes, followed by Palm Springs Airport, Burbank and LAX.

Deposit is 50% due at time of booking with remainder due July 15, 2016.

Cancellation Policy: This policy is passed directly from the retreat site to us. We recommend trip insurance if you are concerned about emergency cancellation. We recommend:
90 days or more out, 50% of the deposit paid can be returned.
89-60 days out, 10% of the deposit paid can be returned
59 or less days 0% can be returned.

Start off the weekend with a Paleo party. This is an opportunity for us to welcome you and for all of us to get to know each other and get ready for the fun and informative weekend ahead!

Vitamoves is a synergy of therapeutic & creative movements to heal injuries, correct joint imbalances, & maximize life-long performance of the body & mind.  You can use movement to stimulate the strength & integrity of your connective tissues to be more resilient to injury & dysfunction. You can use movement to challenge yourself to go above and beyond your current capabilities and move through life with more confidence and grace.
8:30-12:30 am Morning Coffee Walk and Talk Followed By A Deep Dive.
Start the day off with a moderate paced hike. During the morning walk is a great time to ask questions, learn about each other, or just be quiet and take it all in.
Deep dive into “Dynamic Range of Motion” series as well as some of our most important mobility exercises. How we do them and why. This is our chance to work out any of your kinks and help you get your mobility dialed in.

Learn tips and tricks from Primal Blueprint’s Liz Mostaedi! Get ready to learn helpful tips and tricks in the kitchen to make your Primal cooking experience easier and more nutrient dense!

2:30-5:30 pm Strength Training Workshop. Body weight and weighted movements with emphasis on form and progression.
Ever wish that when you were training you could ask Adam and Vanessa if you are doing it right? Well now is your chance!
Let’s take a look at our primary lifts. We are going to help fix any form flaws to keep you safe and allow you to progress in your movements. The empahsis during this session will be to get you comfortable with the strength and conditioning movements so that you can start to progress from wherever you are in your practice. This is your oppportunity to learn from your coaches in the flesh so that you will feel more comfortable then ever when you return home!

Start the day with another moderate paced hike into the Big Bear Mountains.  This is another opportunity to commune with nature and each other!
10:00 am Life Mastery Workshop By Angelo Dela Cruz 
It can be a struggle to get more of the things we want in life because most of us weren’t taught how to use the technology of our minds to be more confident in achieving our goals or how to stay focused on the most important things that matter in our lives.  In order to live into the best person we want to become and create the most meaningful & fulfilling life we can have, we must get a clearer vision of what we want and learn how to keep our attention on doing the things that will get us there.

Chef Liz will take us through some tips and tricks to keep your Paleo compliance as high as possible. She will also talk about how to increase nutrient consumption and keep non-Paleo items from sneaking into to the diet!

1:15 pm Head to lake for Paddle Boarding session or Kayak session!

This is a great opportunity to put into play some of the body mechanics you have learned this weekend.

OUR COMPANY: Bee The Wellness

A Battalion Chief for the third largest fire department in the united States, Adam Lambert has made it the focus of his career to identify and address the specific physical, cognitive, and emotional demands placed on fire personnel and shift workers. Lambert’s breadth of experience in the fire service has provided him with a unique vantage point from which he has built a progressive approach to address those needs. Author of the popular firefighter fitness blog, his groundbreaking review on nutrition and heat related illness was recently published in the State of California annual Focus on Safety. Heralded as a thought leader in the field, Adam was recruited as a contributing editor by The First Twenty, a web based wellness program designed for the fire service. In addition, Lambert is recognized as one of the leading strength and conditioning coaches in the fire service. Certified under the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Lambert spent 6 years training and coaching under the tutelage of Robb Wolf, author of The Paleo Solution and owner of Norcal Strength and Conditioning. As a Firefighter Olympics and Crossfit Games competitor, Adam is no stranger to performance athletics. Adam believes that achieving optimal health and performance must include a foundation of fundamental nutrition and fitness principles but is by no means a one size fits all approach. To that end, he is committed to helping people find a nutrition and fitness strategy that meets their individual needs.

Vanessa: A health and fitness enthusiast since childhood, Vanessa came into coaching quite accidently. As a promising young gymnast, her coach asked if she would instruct the introductory classes at her gym. Her natural love of the movement was only deepened by sharing it with others. There began her basis of learning to coach and her understanding of the unique importance of the teacher student relationship. No stranger to competitive sport, Vanessa played soccer, basketball, swam competitively, and was also co-captain of her cheerleading squad. In her early 20’s she moved to Maui to improve her surfing practice and became one of the first female surf instructors in the Hawaiian islands, and a true force in the water. She and Adam were also an integral part of the CrossFit NorCal team that took third place in the affiliate games in 2009. Throughout her life she continued to evolve her diet in order to better fuel her performance and her busy schedule. In fact, Vanessa had already embraced the Paleo diet when she began training with Robb Wolf as a client. She had seen the dramatic benefits of doing so and was delighted to find out that not only did her coach agree, but he was one of the thought leaders on the subject. It would be her years at Norcal Strength and Conditioning training under the tutelage of Robb and his wife Nicki, that her ancestral wellness practice would deepen. After relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her music career, Vanessa was introduced to Mark Sisson. Working closely with Mark at the Primal Blueprint headquarters over four years, Vanessa developed the personal coaching program, Primal’s luxury retreat vacations, and has become a staple at the PrimalCon events where she and Adam coach the fundamentals of weightlifting and gymnastics. Vanessa feels truly blessed for having worked with the best and the brightest in the ancestral health world. This experience is what motivated her to co-create the Bee The Wellness program with her husband Adam. These days, her focus is to help as many people as possible become the very best version of themselves.
