Lodge Two Half Caff
Peru is magical and on the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu is a breathtaking place known as Lodge Two. Lodge Two provides needed respite from the elements and a place to rest weary bones after summiting Salkantay pass at 15,100 feet…it’s also the jumping off point for the journey down into coffee country.
This place touched our souls and we wanted to be able to bring that feeling back every morning through the aroma and ritual of coffee. We are offering a taste and, for those who were there, a flashback to Lodge Two while supporting the local single origin farming cooperatives in the region.
Coffee farmers in the Cooperative Agricole de Services Multiples Norandino pool their resources, skills and technical knowledge to implement sustainable, organic farming. They also participate in reforestation initiatives and continual quality improvement to produce a better cup for the consumer. We proudly serve this coffee and support the Peruvian farmers who produced it.
